New York Dining to Date

Some amazing places to go here and we haven't stopped since I arrived...

Ten Bells is a sweet and pumping small wine bar where we had some beautiful wine and shared a few snacks of steak tartare, duck rillettes, goats cheese and proscuitto cigars and manchego cheese

A late night 1 am heart stopping snack snack of a Cuban Sandwich (pork, proscuitto, cheese and chilli) with fries at Schillers

Dinner at La Esquina was fun, average mexican but it's more about the atmosphere. You go through this little roadside diner bit and then once you pass through three rounds of security and walk through a kitchen you get seated one level underground. Good to have friends in the know who can get you in...

A quick doghnut from Balthazar Patisserie

Lunch at Cafe Gitane was nice with an amazing salad and ice cold beer. 

Westville was also cool for burgers finished with a peanut butter and choc chip cookie

Had a wicked slow roasted lamb sandwich at a cute and tiny Greek cafe called Snack

Had an early bite at Madam Genevra with the girls, good tapas style menu but served in great restaurant style

Beatrice was cool for some late night happenings

Artist Studio

I was at Anna Wili Highfield's studio that she shares with her partner Simon Cavanough recently for a shoot for Belle magazine. After the shoot we had to take back the large paper owl we had borrrowed from Bianca Spender's new store in Paddington and seeing Wili dashing through traffic on Oxford street carrying a huge owl who's wing's were flapping about in the wind of the cars going past made my day...here are some quick snaps i made on the day, the rest you'll have to see in Belle Nov 3rd

Manon Et Gwenaelle

I'm thinking I should go check out this cute shop as a. i don't know how it slipped me by in the first place and b. I imagine there's lots of good things i could spend my money on there and c. of course it would all be in the name of research for my client Tiny People.

I could wear that goose grey tutu with a cream wrap top and finish it off with a linen satchel - i wonder if they come in a larger size.....

Vintage Hotel Stationary

I cannot resist the temptation to check this blog out, even though I'm sworn of ebay after a few shocking purchases, which always seem to start with a little casual searching after a glass of wine and end in a bidding frenzy, and then yet another piece of crap i don't need...but seeing as it's hosted by one of my fav visits Refinery29 i always take a look. Because you never know when there's going to be little gem's like this vintage hotel stationary on there.

And although I completely DO not need a set of vintage hotel stationary, like so many things in my studio, i think it would be kind of nice to have, in case i ever did need it....
