I first saw this ad on the Gruen Transfer (where is series 2?!?) and saw it for the first time on TV the other night. It's worth a watch

Get out your markers

Although all we use here at JLC is iCal, supplemented by a small moleskin that is mostly used as a notebook, we still love a calendar for the daily fix of graphic delight that they bring...some of our picks for 09 include

Dolphin Studio's Screen Printed Calendar from Refinery29

F is for February Calendar from Be Happy Now

Limited Edition Gocco Screenprinted Calendar from Sarah Parrot
Jim Flora Saxaphone Handprinted Mini Letterpress Calendar from YeeHaw

Further Infactuation

I first found out about Aaron Rose through his Beautiful Losers project, and then again when he curated the Sister Corita Kent exhibit at the Monster Children Gallery (which was ultra cool) and he's just popped into my inbox via The Selby providing me with more of an opportunity for further infactuation...the man is influential

Logo a go go

We really need to track down a copy of this book...

Around the office

Some pics from today around our office

Imelda

I'm very seriously considering purchasing these shoes from Frockaholics...thank god for online boutiques as who seriously has the time to go shopping in the flesh.

One of the great things about having clients with highly desirable exclusive product is that I get to see it first. The downside is then I want EVERYthing

This is a petition

To stop the Selby from continually posting on his site, as I use too much precious time looking around there

I can hear a chinking of glasses

as people toast what was obviously a cracking show of Trent Whiteheads whilst I was in New York...

Here's the rest of the last post

Interesting...we lost half of the last post - we'll try again...drum roll..presenting misprinted type
