But of course I had to go everywhere in the name of 'research'.

Highlights were Helmut Lang where I purchased a top that I'm fairly obsessed with

Yoji Yamamoto where Nik bought sneakers and I bought pants
John Varvatos has a new store where punk club CBGB's used to be and is where I picked up some sunglasses

Martin Margiela had a seriously cool fit out where Nik picked up a new bag, and I desperately wanted some boots that didn't fit

The Comme Store was amazing, and great to finally see in the flesh. Nik bought a long sleeve tee.

E.Vogel was a store we all came across accidently and completely fell in love with, lusting for pairs of their custom made leather boots. We were all ready to go through the half hour procedure of getting fitted and sized, but upon asking the US$1000 starting point kind of put a dampener on things. Had I the money these would have been my choices...

SOS Chef was amazing for it's back of house cool room with the most amazing selection of mushrooms and truffles I've ever seen, alongside spices, oils, salts from around the world, then downstairs tagines and morrocan sandals and clothing for kids.
Assembly in Ludlow St was great, although I felt stupid thinking about buying Chronicles of Never there when we can get it here in Sydney...
Le Labo is where Nik bought a beautiful fragrance, and where i had aspirations of also getting one, but my maxed out Visa card had other ideas. They custom mix and pour your fragrance choice with a label they print with your name and details.

John Derian was incredible. We kept going back and back and discovering more amazing things.
The Golden Calf in Brooklyn had some good pieces. And I bought the guys a housewarming gift at Bodanna.
Kids and babes wise, FAO Schwartz is a must, and for clothing, Sons and Daughters, Sweet William in Brooklyn and Makie for seriously cool Japanese clothes
