Dining In

The Bedford Cheese Shop was so good it deserves it's own post, but who has time. They even have their own blog and we bought a few incredibly good cheeses and some bread to have at home with some decent red wine.

Oro is a sweet little bakery with nice cupcakes where you can eat in and enjoy a glass of wine. They have a cool logo and business card also...

Olives is a great place for some takeaway pastries and bread, perfect for our daily midday breakfasts of toast with avocado, lime and coriander

Zabars is THE deli to go to in New York. It's a gigantic Jewish delicatessen/supermarket uptown, that was well worth riding our bikes 114 blocks to get to. We bought home with us freshly sliced proscuitto, goats cheese, bouche d'affinois, a homemade apple pie, tea's, kniches, dumplings and chocolate. Again, seriously fabulous logo and graphics.

Dean and Deluca's was also worth battling the massive crowds for.
